Moving all of your possessions from one place to another involves the use of a lot of packaging and fuel. At Rosenkavalier we take responsibility for this very seriously.

All of our packaging is made from recycled material. Our cartons are made with 80% recycled cardboard the 20% being virgin fibres to maintain strength.
Our packing paper is cut from the ends of newspaper reels where the last 20 metres or so will not go through the printing presses. This in itself is recycled paper, it is cut into useful sized pieces and we use it to pack you china and glass etc.
If you are planning a move locally, within the UK or abroad contact us now for a quote!
We minimise the use of disposable packaging wherever possible for instance by using metal rails for hanging clothes instead of cardboard ones, our sofa covers are reusable again and again as are our lorry blankets and other covers.
Our vehicles all run on low sulphur diesel and all of our HGV s are checked every six weeks to make sure that they are running at there cleanest and most efficient.
Part of wasteful transport is the actions of the drivers. All of our drivers are trained in efficient driving which involves amongst other things, good anticipation which reduces the need for wasteful slowing and acceleration, not leaving engines idling unnecessarily and daily vehicle checks which reveal low tire pressures and other deficiencies that can use more fuel or cause leeks or spills.
We always endeavour to reduce the environmental impact of our operations and we will continue to seek out new ways to make moving home as efficient and clean as possible.
